More than just good wine!

After starting a wine tour at 10am, let's face it, any food is good! After a visit to Brokenwood winery followed by Tulloch, we pulled up at Lindemans for lunch and another wine tasting. Having lunch included in our wine tour ($95 with Hunter Valley Day Tours) was a huge plus and the quailty and quanity of food did not disappoint!

We started with a knot loaf served with balsamic, oil and Dukka followed by a fresh and crisp Pear and Rocket salad. Before we knew it, out came 3 woodfired pizzas to share between the 10 of us and some smashed chats with sour cream. We also had a glass of wine or beer included in our meals.

Our first woodfired pizza was full of cheesy goodness with a great onion flavour added from the Spanish onions. Then came a ham and field mushoom, a deep earthy flavour which went well with my Lindemans Semillon. Our final and yummiest pizza, Chorizo, tomato and rocket, with the perfect amount of spice to leave you hanging for... just one more piece!

Great experience, and many of the local wine makers in the area also make the trip to Lindemans just for the pizza! Highly recommended if in the area!
